Got up early. Woke everyone up, finished loading, and left at 9 AM. We drove for 18 hours with a few gas stops and bathroom stops, 10 of us in the Sprinter van towing the trailer, and TJ's family in the GMC conversion van.
During the drive I finished weaving in the loose ends on Jake's sweater, finished embroidering a pillowcase, and started crocheting some edging for the pillowcase. We have a makeshift kitchen set up in the back of the Sprinter. I'll have to take a pic.
We drove through and had to pull over during a nasty thunderstorm and downpour in SC but finally arrived in Mooresville, NC at 3 AM. Stayed up for an hour getting situated. Angelica's brother, cousin, and Uncle Jack arrived before us.
