I woke up before my alarm at 6:30 and made coffee, showered, ate, and drove over to TJ's to pick TJ and Jake up. We loaded up the van and left about 8:30 AM for Nervous Nellies in Fort Myers Beach. Had a fun ride, about 5 1/2 hours.
Fun place. Great concert. Saw our good friend Gator John, who we haven't seen in a few years. He had a few of us hold his baby gators. Crazy!
My dad, Aunt Barbie, and a friend of theirs came to see us too. After the concert Gator took us to the beach, but we couldn't stay long because we had to get to Pompano Beach for tomorrow's gig.
We stopped at the Pink Church, otherwise known as the First Presbyterian Church, dropped off some equipment, ran into Publix for some vittles, and then proceeded to our hostess's house a few blocks from the church.
She had a gorgeous home, and we thank her for opening it up to us. We sat by the pool and ate. Charlie and Tommy took a quick swim, and we all went to bed. Tom stayed up a bit longer talking.
