Wednesday

I took Tommy to camp again this morning. I made some delicious mint chocolate chip smoothies for breakfast. Afterwards, I did school with Charlie. TJ sent me a pic from Salvation Army of a U-shaped couch. They had a bunch of them from a Key West hotel that is remodeling. I hurried over and bought one.

The boys were at the studio, but came home for lunch. Joe, Garrett, and I moved the old furniture out and the older boys went and picked up the new.  We set it all up and it looks great.

We went to church for supper and Bible study. Came home and read to Charlie. Got to bed early. :0)

July 29, 2014

Tuesday

I got up to my alarm at 7:15. I got myself ready, then woke up Tommy. I made him toast, made sure he had everything, and took him to camp. It is literally just minites away. On my way home I stopped at Winn Dixie for groceries. I was super prepared, had my list all organized before I went. Came home and Garrett helped carry it all up the stairs. Then I put it all away. I had the boys pick chores. The place is starting to shape up. Tom also told the kids no friends sleeping over for a while. It's been a madhouse for a while, for a long while.

Today i started with history with Garrett, then I did school with Charlie while Garrett did his math. Eddy had to help me make the discs work in the computer for Garrett's Algebra lessons. It's a good thing I have teenagers or I couldn't make anything work.

Joe folded two more baskets of laundry for me today. Before I knew it, it was time to pick up Tommy from camp. I did that, then did the dishes (Garrett's chore but he never had time). I had a break from 6-7. All the kids went to the park for hockey. Tommy got called over to church because someone else didn't show up to work.

I cut up watermelon,  made a salad, and made Buffalo Cauliflower. We ate about 9 o'clock.  It got late, and I almost went to bed and left the dishes for morning. All the boys except Charlie had gone to the church to play laser tag with a friend who is moving away. While I did dishes, Tom was on the phone with Verizon trying to straighten out a problem with our bill. It's the second time they activated 2 old phones and tried charging us for them. It took Tom 2 hours to get it taken care of. I fell asleep while he was still on the phone with them.

July 28, 2014

Monday

I woke up early, before my alarm, so I could get myself and Tommy ready for Sea Camp. I had hoped Tom would go with me on the first day, just to drop him off, but Tom couldn't get up. So Tommy and I went. After dropping him off, I knew he would have a good time. The girl knew who he was and the other kids were friendly.

When I got home I made coffee and had some quiet time. Planned my day a little bit. I made a tofu breakfast scramble. I need to change up breakfast. I'm tired of oatmeal every day. I found some other things to try.

I did school with Charlie, and history and math with Garrett. I had Joe fold two baskets of laundry, and had Kurt and Luke take care of the dishes.

The band left for Sloppy Joes. I stayed home so that I could pick up Tommy from camp. My plan was to pick up Tommy, stop and visit Angelica, and then get groceries. I wasn't going to go to the gig. But Tom texted me and wanted me to come to watch little kids. I stopped at Angelica's and visited while Tommy showered there. Then we stopped at the house so I could change and Tommy could brush his teeth, then drove the two of us to Key West. It was the longest drive ever.

We got there half way thru. Charlie had been manning the CD table and was proud of himself for selling 10 CDs. There were a lot of kids in the audience tonight.

Sunday

I woke up feeling much better, after a good night's sleep. Went to church. Some of the band members from "Good Company" were in the worship band this morning. We all enjoyed that.

After church I took Tommy to Bealls and Walgreens to get a few last things for camp tomorrow. Came home and relaxed a little. Then I made vegan chili with TVP (textured vegetable protein). I've been wanting to try it and finally had a little time and all the ingredients. It was wonderful. It will really help with more variety in my menu planning.

Nina had her regular afternoon gig at Sunset Pier. The rest of the band left for Schooner Wharf at 4:30. A part of me wanted to go, but a bigger part thought I needed to rest up a little more before sitting on a bench in the heat sweating for hours. It has been soooo hot here, one of the top ten hottest Julys here in the Keys.

So, I didn't go. I took chili and cornbread over to Angelica for a treat for their supper. Hung out a little. Then went to church. After church I stopped at the house to see if the younger boys wanted to go to Boondocks with me to see the band "Good Company" for the last time. They are going back to Nashville. Tommy was home and he went with me.

Randy and Micky were there and we sat with them. It was pretty busy. I like it so much better when it's not. The last two weeks it was slow and personable. Not tonight. But the band was great, and I was sitting with good company, so it was all good.

Went home at 10 and went to bed. I haven't been taking any pictures lately. I really like putting them in my blog.

Here's an old pic Bill Ward put up on FB. Good memories. Thanks Bill!

July 26, 2014

Saturday

Woke up feeling about 75% myself. I loaded the dishwasher and ran it. The band left for Sunset Pier, and I I went to Winn Dixie and picked up peanut butter, jelly, bread, and OJ and dropped it off at TJ's. He was sick last night too. Garrett and Tommy were sick last night too. Then I went to the weaving studio and helped Kim wind another wrap onto the loom.

On my way home I stopped at Winn Dixie again, for lunch food. I came home and ate lunch with Garrett, Tommy, and Charlie. I rested in my room for half an hour, then folded laundry. I asked Garrett to clean the living room. He did a lousy job and I had to do it with him. Grrrr. I finished the dishes from earlier, then laid down again.

Garrett went to work at church. The band got back home. I went with Ed, Nina, Joe, and Ariel to No Name Pub, even though I didn't have much of an appetite. We hurried home so the boys could go to the park for hockey.

I cut up a watermelon and made the salad. Then ran back to Winn Dixie for the third time today, for meat for Rob, and coffee.

Back home, I made a Waldorf salad, sliced mushrooms for Rob's meat, and they all came back from the park.

I wasn't hungry and had no energy so I went to bed.

July 25, 2014

Friday

I went waking this morning, then got Charlie ready for Georgina to pick him up for the last day of fiddle camp. They met at a friend's house for water games, pizza, and fun. I showered and then took Garrett to Marathon for his physical for Sea Camp. On the way there we saw the mast of a sailboat banging against the 7 Mile Bridge.

After we got home I finished Garrett's paperwork for camp, then I escaped to Ida's pool, by myself. Kim and Stevie met me there. I stayed about 4 hours and went home.

I started feeling hot and cold, headache, and weird sore throat so I payed down. The band went to their gig at Mangrove Mama's. At 7:30 I ordered pizza for the younger boys. At 8 I picked up the pizza and then crawled back in bed. I woke up so many times during the night.

And the younger boys, they did everything Tom told them not to do. Tom told them to stay out of Nina's room, no TV (also in Nina's room), and no video games. They did all three.

The boys new video cenoit today. Check it out :0)

July 23, 2014

Wednesday

I went walking for and ran for 2 minutes. :0/

Woke up Charlie and took him to fiddle camp. Showered. Ate oatmeal. Did school with Garrett and Tommy. Finishing up last year, starting the new year, making plans, trying the new stuff slowly, figuring out how it works.

Garrett is starting high school with Christain Liberty Academy, an accredited school, where if I push him and work with him, he will get a diploma. I'll do some of the work with Tommy, and if it works out, I will do it with Tommy next year and later with Charlie. Tommy is going to do two things that Garrett won't, Omnibis and Latin. Tommy liked Latin when we did it two years ago. He's good with languages.

I also did school with Charlie. He spent most of his day at church with the older boys in the studio. I went to Kim's about 3:30 and kept on threading heddles. Alice fed us supper and it was delicious. What a treat to have someone else make me food. Right now I am so sick of buying and preparing food.

We went to church for Bible study. At the end, Charlie felt super sick and was crying. His stomach and head hurt. Fran let Ben borrow his car to take Charlie and me home.

I made Charlie a bed on the floor at the foot of my bed and and set him up to watch the movie "Hop" on my computer. I laid on the end of my bed and watched most of it with him. I wasn't feeling too good myself, kind of achy and not right, so I took some ibuprofin and we went to sleep when the movie was over.

July 22, 2014

Tuesday

Ed, Nina, and TJ played at Blue Heaven this morning. I took Charlie to fiddle camp, then worked on school stuff for the next school year. I did math with Tommy and Garrett and all of Charlie's schoolwork with him.

I went over to the weaving studio and worked two hours. The boys all went to the park to play hockey. I came home and made cornbread, curried carrot soup, and a salad. I took a quick trip to Winn Dixie and bought two seedless watermelons and steak for our friend, Rob, who just got back from a trip.

When I got home I cut up the watermelons and cut up an onion and mushrooms for Rob's steak, finished cooking, and ate.

Most of the kids went to church to do I don't know what. Some went to Sugarloaf to play manhunt. I did dishes forever. It was late, too late.

July 21, 2014

Monday

Went walking first thing this morning. It was hot, muggy, and no breeze. When I got home I woke up Charlie and got him ready for fiddle camp. It's every morning this week. I dropped him off and went home and showered. Made coffee and did devos.

I had to sprinkle water on Garrett to wake  him up at 11:30 AM. He wants an iPhone and I told him he could get one when he gets up on his own for a month. I guess he doesn't want it that bad 'cause he can't do it.

We did some schoolwork and the kids did chores.  Trying to wrap up this school year and get ready for the next.

At 2:30 I made a Waldorf salad and put it on top of a green salad. I packed it for Tom, Ed, and I, to eat on the way and at Sloppy's.

Sloppy's was too much for me today. I just need some quiet. Lots of fans though. It was encouraging talking to people. I took the kids for a walk over to Mallory Square. Not sure what I'm doing tomorrow, if I'm taking it off or doing school. I need to weed our yard too.

Took this pic driving to Sloppy's.

July 20, 2014

Sunday

Woke up early. Went to church. After church, Fran invited Charlie swimming at the Key West pool. Nina's band went to their gig at Sunset Pier. As soon as I walked in the door I was reminded of the mess, so Tom and I went to Byron and Ida's to go swimming. Angelica joined us with Jake. TJ stayed home with Callie, who had a fever.

Went home and grabbed something to eat, then went to church again. Afterwards, the boys played hockey and I made supper, vegan mac'n cheese. I was going to make a salad too but was too tired. It's time for Garrett to start making salads.

I've got to get to bed earlier. I'm crabby at the end of the day. I don't like that.

July 19, 2014

Saturday

I didn't sleep well and got up early. We needed groceries so I went to Winm Dixie so the band could eat before they left for their first of two gigs.

I put food away and picked up TJ and Jake and Callie. TJ went to the gig and I took the kids to our house. I planned on making yogurt but didn't get to it. I need to make granola too.

Callie fell asleep at noon. She woke up with a fever and then sat on my lap while I did bookkeeping.  Around 3 o'clock I took Tommy, Charlie, Jake, and Callie over to the weaving studio.  Angelica met us there and we all worked till 6ish. Ang took her kids home and I took Tommy and Charlie to meet the band at Schooner Wharf.

It's been pretty hot. I sat with a fan on me. I drank tons of water and felt water logged all night. We left early with TJ and watched tons of lightning while driving home. Afterone extremely bright blast of lightning, Key West and Stock Island lost power and went dark.

Luckily the rain wasn't too hard and stopped by the time we reached home.

July 18, 2014

Friday

I washed all the dishes in the dishwasher, then all the dishes on the counter. Luke threw up during the night so he was sleeping on the couch. TJ picked up Garrett and Charlie at 10:30 AM and took them to the movies in Marathon, a homeschooling event. Tommy slept over at Cameron's last night and went to the movies too.

When all my dishes were done I went to Kim's. Angelica was there too and we had a relaxing time talking while working. I finished winding my warp and started weaving on the next wrap. While I was there, Tom worked on the dishwasher and found a bad ground, so he was able to fix it. Then Tom brought Joe over to Kim's on the motorcycle. Joe had folded all the laundry for me while I was gone, and now he wanted to take me to lunch at No Name Pub. :0)

Tom worked on fixing a light at Kim's, and Joe and I went to eat. That was a nice get-a-way. Tom showed up when we were done eating.

Next we stopped at the bank so Joe could activate his debit card, then we stopped at Salvation Army. Then went home.  I asked Aaron and Charlie to clean the living room and they both ignored me, so I told Aaron he could go home tonight. Now he started to clean, but too little, too late.   I also took Charlie's jawbreaker away.  Kurt argued with me about Aaron, so when we got to Schooner Wharf, I bought the band iced capps at Duetto's but didn't get one for him.  Kurt doesn't like to help with chores either.

The night went by fast for me. I talked with a new fan for most of the night. He had seen the kids this morning at Blue Heaven. Speaking of Blue Heaven, Nina was sick their this morning. She missed a few songs and was back singing.

I left with Tommy at about 10:30 PM and went home.

July 17, 2014

Thursday

I made pancakes this morning, then did math corrections with Tommy and Garrett. I watched Jake and Callie from about 11-5 so TJ and Ang could go on a date and go grocery shopping. Tommy had a guitar lesson.

Tonight was youth group so all the kids but Charlie went to church. Charlie and I went to Kim's and we worked in the weaving studio from 5:30-9:00. I started winding my warp for the dish towels  going to make. We are getting ready to dye some yarn exciting.

We stopped at Winn Dixie and finally bought some lettuce and berries. Came home, made the salad. We had salad, beans, rice, and fruit for supper.

Oh, I forgot to mention that our new dishwasher quit working today. Super bummed. I think Tom is even bummed.

July 16, 2014

Wednesday

I missed the last two days. Monday was Sloppy Joes. Did school. Hurried all day. I was out of lettuce and didn't have time to go to the store. TJ and I ate at Duetto's and everyone else ate at Sloppy's.

I thought on Tuesday we would have a full school day but everything got in the way. I can't even remember it now. I did run out with Charlie to buy a birthday present for a party we went to at 5 o'clock. We also hurried into Winn Dixie for fixin's for an icecream cake for Luke. It was his birthday too.

Bri wrapped the presents. I threw together the cake and got it in the freezer. Then we went to the birthday party at the park. It was a fun party with water balloons, bubbles, dress the snowman, piñata, pizza, candy, cake, and punch. The teenagers got a little crazy and a few people ended up wearing cupcakes.

The heat and the bugs helped the party come to an end. I went home and showered. The boys came home and put on their hockey equipment, then went back to the park. I stayed home and made supper, baked beans, rice, cantaloupe, and watermelon.

After we ate, which had to be 9:30ish, we sang to Luke and ate icecream cake. I did dishes the whole time I was in the kitchen. I finally quit and went to bed. The kids went to church to play laser tag (close to midnight). Summer vacation is wearing me out and I don't get summer vacation).

Finally, Wednesday.  I had a hard time with my attitude all day. The house is such a mess. I should have taken a picture. Garbage, boxes, toys, instruments, another broken chair...that's not my living room. It's a garbage dump! And dishes! Argh!!!! And laundry? I'm drowning in it.

Tommy threw up during the night. He made it to the bathroom but threw up in the sink. He tried to clean it up but plugged the sink. I cleaned it up but couldn't get the sink to drain, and since Tom was home, I let him have the honor.

The kids had meetings at church at noon. Tom and I spent about 2 hours doing office work, phone calls, etc. I also folded laundry.  TJ and Angelica took Garrett and Charlie to Curry Hammock State Park to a homeschooler's get together. Stuff like that used to be fun for me, now it just makes me more behind.

I decided to escape to Ida's pool and go swimming by myself. Ida didn't answer her phone though, so I tried laying out on the hammock. She eventually called me back and I went over. It was wonderful. I can't go over there every day though. She would let me, but it would be overstaying my welcome.

Came home and scraped together veggies for a wrap. Went to Bible study at church. Came home. Still a garbage dump. I cleaned off a few bookshelves. Trying to thin out some books and make more room.

At about 10:30 I had enough and went to my room and shut the door.  Tom said Ben washed the dishes. At 11 o'clock he put Joe in charge of the chore hat and made them do chores.

Good night moon.

July 13, 2014

Sunday

I got up early enough to have some quiet time before church. After church I relaxed at home for an hour, then took a bunch of kids swimming at Ida's. I took Garrett, Charlie, Jonathan, Ian, and Ariel. The water felt so good. I wish we had a pool.

Came home and made a pizza from the new book that Angelica's mom got her for her birthday. I made the crust, the sauce, the vegan cheese, and put spinach, mushrooms, onions, and red peppers on it. It looked great and smelled great, but tasted blah. I liked it better dipping it in the sauce. I need to try a different cheese recipe. I can't remember which recipe worked for me.

Anyways, after I ate I met Tom at church. After that Tom and I went to Boondocks to hear the band Good Company. That was really fun. I look forward to seeing them again. Our kids and some of their friends met us there . They had two gigs today and were on their way home. The band was  done at 10 and we went home. The kids brought all those friends over. Tom and I went to bed. The kids stayed up a long time, watched a movie I think. I couldn't fall asleep so I finally used my headphones and listened to a book.

July 12, 2014

Saturday

The band left about 10:30 AM for Mel Fisher Days. They ran sound all day for the other bands and played at 4. I did a few chores here, then went to Winn Dixie so I could make a meal to take with me to feed the band.

When I got home I made BBQ wraps of lettuce, corn, kidney beans. BBQ sauce, and Way Better chips. I made a few sloppy joes from leftovers and cut up a watermelon. I packed it all in the cooler with some apples. Garrett went to Dion's and bought me 2 bags of ice. I put one in the 5 gallon water cooler and Garrett loaded it in the car. Garrett also put the rest of the groceries away.

I left with Tommy and Charlie at 2 PM and picked up TJ. TJ drove into Key West. I don't like driving.

We had a wonderful day. No rain. Some clouds moved in which meant shade so it cooled off a little later on. Kim played the first half and I watched Stevie. Kim left with Stevie and Tommy. When our set was over, TJ left with Charlie, Ariel, and Ian. So Tom and I got to take a walk during the last band. We strolled down to Starbucks for a free cafe latte (I had a coupon) and watched a bunch of old cars go down Duval Street. When we were walking back the power went out in all the stores and the stop lights. We could still hear the bass of the band playing. Sloppy's and the band still had power.

When the last band was finished, we packed up and got home around 10.

I want one. :0)
The moon coming up on the drive home. Love that blue.

July 11, 2014

Friday

It's our anniversary! 28 years!! That's a long time, and I can't be that old.

Tom took me out for my favorite meal, breakfast, then we went to the bank to pay off a credit card. What fun. Glad for the breakfast though.

Back at home I corrected a math lesson with Garrett and helped Charlie with history. I took Charlie with me to Winn Dixie for just a few things for supper. He wanted to buy me chocolate for an anniversary present too. When I got home, I made the sloppy joes with lentils for everyone since our gig was not feeding us tonight. :0( I made a salad too. I packed some up and took it to TJ's so Angelica could have a night off from making supper, then headed over to the weaving studio to weave with Kim for about an hour. Angelica joined us too.

Hurried home to go to the gig. The younger boys went to movie night at church. I went with the band to our gig at Tarpon Creek in Marathon. The boys forgot 3 things, the drum kick pedal, the keyboard stand, and Ed's mandolin pedals, so Tom and I drove 45 minutes back home to fetch them. It was kind of a downer ride because Tom was venting about the kids.

Back at the gig, I got a brownie ice cream dessert and they treated Tom and I with a pizza since it was our anniversary. Micky and Randy joined us. We also met our accountant's secretary there to sign some papers. Tom also vented to Randy and Micky. I did not want to hear it again so I listened to the band.

The moon was really pretty tonight. I got a pic of it coming up while we were driving to the gig, and Nina got some pics of it while at the gig.

The kids were hungry again when we got home. Ed complained there was nothing to eat. Grrr. There were only 2 lemons in the fruit drawer. No bananas. They eat everything so fast. I told Ed he could be in charge of feeding everyone. He and Nina made spaghetti. That was after midnight and I got to bed sometime after one.

July 10, 2014

Thursday

It's been so hot out and I get to bed so late- my excuses for not walking. :0(

We did math and history. The big kids were at church all day practicing and setting up for youth group. Bobby picked Charlie up and took him to Shannon's. He hasn't been there in over a month so was very excited to go. He loves going there. Tom went to chaperone at church. And me?  I went to Kim's to weave. I was a bit troubled because I couldn't figure out what to make for supper. Kim and I finally just ordered pizza. It's so expensive though. :0(

I finally decided that I would make lentil sloppy joes, but when the kids got home, I heard they were going out for Chinese, so I made a triple batch of vegan mac and cheese for whoever might want to eat at home.

I did another Omnibus lesson and went to bed. (Prep for a class I'm doing with Tommy next year). I'm thinking about starting Algebra with Garrett in a few days.

We had a very orange sunset tonight. The three other pics are of the wraps on the looms right now. Kim's been working on the first one, me on the second, and Angelica just started on the third one.

July 9, 2014

Wednesday

I went walking this morning. I planned on doing school but Tom reminded me of an 11 o'clock appointment at the bank. We went and it took 2 hours. That was not in my plan for the day. We are an LLC now, and we got a business checking account and credit card.

The older kids had meetings at church. The younger ones did history and math on their own.

When we got home I finished Tommy's camp application. I made a Waldorf salad with grapes, apples, celery, chickpeas, and pecans. I used vanilla coconut yogurt instead of mayonnaise. I packed it up with a green salad and took it to Kim's to share for supper later. Charlie went with me to the studio and he played with Stevie while Kim and I wove. Kim was actually unweaving 6 feet. She made a big mistake the day before.

We took our food with us to Bible study and ate there. I came home and did an Omnibus lesson. Got to bed after midnight.

July 8, 2014

Tuesday

I got Charlie off to his fiddle lesson just before 10 AM, exercised, and showered. Joe helped pick up the living room. Tom and I left at 11 AM to take Tommy to the doctor's for a camp physical.

Joe, Tom, and I dropped off two basses at Dean's to get repaired. Then stopped at TJ's so Tom could get the GMC that TJ had borrowed. Tom put a new radiator in Ed's van last week. This week he's fixing air-conditioners, and today was the GMC's turn. Tom took the GMC home, and Joe took me on a date to No Name Pub. I was good and ordered a vegetarian salad. Rita was working amid we saw Doug and Roberta too.

I dropped Joe off at home and went to Kim's and threaded and wove for two hours. Went home from there and cut up four heads of cauliflower plus used two frozen bags to make Buffalo Cauliflower. The boys all went to the park to play hockey. TJ dropped off the kids so he and Angelica could go on a date and get groceries. I also made a salad and cut up two watermelons.

Rita watched the little ones at the park. They came home and we ate. Garrett did dishes. I knitted a little, then had to help Garrett put palm fanzes in a garbage can, in the dark. I told him to do it earlier but he didn't listen. That was about midnight. Sometes he is a real bum.

July 7, 2014

Monday

Ummm...laundry. I'm spending too much time picking up. Time to delegate. Get the chore hat going again. The older kids went to the studio. The younger boys went to Bahia Honda with Kim and Angelica. I exercised and showered.

I made an appointment for Tuesday for a physical for Tommy. He needs it to go to camp the end of July. Then had to hurry to Winn Dixie and get groceries again. I always take cash and have to add things up as I go so I don't go over. All four vehicles were gone. Three were at church. Really? They couldn't take one or two, but needed all three? So I had to wait for Ed to bring me a car. Tom had the 4th vehicle.

Came home, put it all away, and made a salad with leftover baked beans from yesterday. Tommy and Charlie are grounded from their iPads so had to ride to Sloppy's with nothing to do. They also had nothing to do at Sloppy's. I almost brought math along but ran out of time. I ended up teaching Charlie "Cat's Cradle" withy yarn I had with me. We played that much of the night. I never knitted one stitch.

Got home and Garrett had done the dishes! Yeah! It doesn't take a lot to make me happy.

July 6, 2014

Sunday

Went to church. Made lunch at home, then took the younger kids to Ida's to swim. Rita and her siblings joined us. It was me, Joe, Rita, Zahara, RJ, Ian, Ariel, Tommy, and Charlie. We swam for two hours.

When I got home, I couldn't find my phone. I couldn't call Ida to see if it was there because no one else had Ida's phone number, except Tom, and he was working so I couldn't ask him. He worked with Fran today, doing floors. Anyway, I drove back to Ida's house but couldn't get in. The gate was closed and her dogs were out. If I were to open the gate, the dogs would surely get out. So I went back home.

I picked up a few things before going to church. Ida was at church too. She called her son, who found my phone. Ida drove and met him half way so now I have my phone back. Woo!!

Nina had her gig at Sunset Pier today. When they got back, the boys got ready to play hockey at the park. That's when I left for church. Rob came up for hockey too.

When I got home I scrambled to make supper. I was fairly limited since I hadn't made a big trip to the grocery store since we got home from our trip. I made, all vegan, macaroni and cheese, baked beans, and a salad. It was a good supper.

Shortly after 9 PM, Rob went home and Ed, Ben, Joe, and I went to Boondocks to listen to a band. The kids friend, Phil, was playing the drums. We wanted to go earlier but had commitments. I only heard 2 1/2 songs and then they were done. They quit 10 minutes early. Stinks for me.

Home again. Tom got home from work about 11. Got Garrett washing dishes and went to bed.

July 5, 2014

Saturday

I walked and went to Kim's to weave. I wove 4 feet today, then went back home. I stopped at Winn Dixie again for berries, milk, bread, and lettuce. Did some housecleaning and laundry and before I knew it, it was time to leave for our wedding gig. The band was already in Key West. They played at Sunset Pier this afternoon, and the wedding was also there. Ed, Nina, and Joe also did music for the ceremony.

I don't know what I was thinking when I left. Tommy and Charlie were wearing swimsuits, great for the pool but not the wedding. So I had to take a little walk down Duval and buy them some overpriced shorts and shirts.

The rest of the afternoon and evening I just hung out. I took the kids, Tommy, Charlie, Ailsa, Aaron, Ian, and Ariel, to Duetto's for pizza and gelato. I also bough a giant box of Nerds on our walk back for the kids to share. Hung out some more, then left about an hour before the band was done. Dropped Ailsa off at her house.
